January - yes, it can feel like a bit of a low point, and maybe that's to do, as you say, with the lack of light. I think I often feel quite motivated at this time of year though, after the summer (which, even if not restful, has usually been different), new term feeling perhaps. I'm thinking now about a significant work/life change (going back to studying) and although I haven't made a final decision I'm finding the process of deciding a positive one. If I go for it, it will be a very large resolution, and what would keep me on course? The support of family and friends I think.
I'm thinking about doing a PhD, part-time so probably over about 5 years. It's obviously a big step, but, in part, I like the idea of something 'bigger', which would take a significant amount of my time, and be a focus - I'd need to reduce/streamline some other stuff, but that seems like a v positive thing.

I’m always on
No chips in October ( the summer holidays seem very chip heavy)
No Mince pie November ( I like to wait till at least December )

I will not get caught up in the hysteria of the festive pressure ( not nailed that one yet)
From tomorrow I want to stretch more
My Pilates teacher recommends start with a simple stretch and see if you want to do more, so I’m going to give it a try 😊.
Oh, how about changing the wording around a bit on the festive season one? Maybe that'll do the trick?
